This California Privacy Rights Notice ("CA Notice") supplements the emergencyexterminators.com Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to residents of the State of California. It is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CPRA"), and any implementing regulations issued thereunder. The operating entity is Ziplead Digital / The Lead House ("we," "us," or "our").
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. To the extent our use of advertising cookies constitutes "sharing" under California law, you have the right to opt out. See Section 9 below.
As a California resident, you have the following rights: Right to Know · Right to Delete · Right to Correct · Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing · Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information · Right to Non-Discrimination. We will respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 calendar days of receipt.
You have the right to request disclosure of the categories of personal information we collected about you, the sources, our business purpose, categories of third parties we disclose to, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
You have the right to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions including completing your service request, detecting security incidents, or complying with legal obligations.
Under the CPRA, you have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the inaccuracy.
At this time, we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA (e.g., Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health information). If this changes, we will update this Notice accordingly.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service based on your exercise of privacy rights.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once per calendar year, information about categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. Email [email protected] with "Shine the Light Request" in the subject line. Please allow up to 30 days for a response.
To exercise your Right to Know, Delete, or Correct, email [email protected] with "CA Privacy Request" in the subject line. You may make a Right to Know request no more than twice within a 12-month period.
You may designate an authorized agent to submit consumer rights requests on your behalf by providing signed written permission or executing a power of attorney pursuant to California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465.
